Press release information with Editorial Commentary in italics.

This latest collaboration continues on the success of the Alain Silberstein collaboration, and the relative speed in which the two previous collections have been sold out. Also, we understand, an initiative from Watches of Switzerland Singapore, a subsidiary of The Hour Glass, to procure a further 178 pieces to be available only to their market so that their customers will not miss out on this exciting collaboration.

The watch is based on the regulator of the Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein’s Triptych released in 2021. What is new in this three party collaboration is the colour scheme selected. The base gray tone with white accents and splashes of of the bright tri-colour signature of Alain Silberstein. Interestingly the accents and colour stand out rather nicely on the neutral grey background.

The case design also takes same case shape as the Triptych. The case proper remains a round-cylinder shape, with a tiny flat bezel. But instead of lugs attached to the top and bottom edges, the lugs are attached at the middle of the case. These structures are curved such that it looks like a barrel shape (tonneau) from straight on, and meet at the end to form a stylized ring to hold the strap. The movement remains the same Sellita SW266-1 used in the earlier version.

Priced at the competitive SGD 5k (the Triptych’s Regulator retailed at CHF 3.5k), and only available in 178 pieces, you can be sure it will be sold out quickly. And if you desire a piece of this amazing collaboration, you better hurry.

One capsule within a capsule. Louis Erard continues its collaboration with watchmaking architect Alain Silberstein by dding a third stage to the rocket: an exclusive collaboration with Watches of Switzerland Singapore, exclusive partner of Louis Erard in Singapore. The result is a variation of the regulator presented in June 2021 as part of the Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein collector’s triptych. The regulator returns alone this time, still in a limited edition of 178 pieces — a symbolic number which means that together we are always stronger — in a variation made with six hands.

The dial is a playground for Alain Silberstein’s creativity. The result is a distinctive, pop piece, instantly recognisable, yet full of nuances. Alain Silberstein used his iconic palette of three fundamental colours — red for the hours, blue for the minutes and yellow for the seconds, this time having them vibrate on subtle shades of grey: medium grey for the large dial, light grey for the secondary hour dial at 12 o’clock, paired with a grey strap for complete harmony.

As for the case, Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein x Watches of Switzerland Singapore incorporates the elements of the triptych version. The case is made up of a tube container in microblasted grade 2 titanium with a transparent back, attached to polished grade 5 titanium vertical sidebars called “brancard” and flanked by a conical signature crown stamped with the Louis Erard symbol. The strap is made of breathable, ergonomic and adjustable nylon for enhanced wrist comfort.

Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein x Watches of Switzerland Singapore is exclusively distributed through the Watches of Switzerland boutiques in Singapore.
