Rotary says the new lift is wider and twice as fast as a standard in-ground lift to service a range of vehicles.

Rotary released its new Wide Smartlift that it says is versatile enough to work with both current and next generation vehicles. It is one and a half times wider and twice as fast as a standard in-ground lift, providing technicians with greater access and speed to service nearly any vehicle.

The Wide Smartlift’s redesigned superstructure creates nearly 50% more unobstructed under-vehicle space for easy service of air dams, batteries and more while its patented TRIO three-stage arms offer 18% greater reach for faster, easier spotting of exotic and low-profile cars, Rotary says. The available interchangeable adapter kits allow the lift to service cars, trucks and EVs on the same arm. With the Shockwave-powered cycle times Rotary users love, the lift works twice as fast as standard lift, allowing shops to complete more jobs in the same amount of time.

Additionally, the Wide Smartlift is easier and faster to install than other lifts, saving up to 35% in installation costs. Available in 10,000- or 12,000-lb. capacities, the lift allows for anything from subcompact cars to trucks to be serviced, adds Rotary.

“Thanks to electric vehicles, we know the automotive industry will likely change more in the next 5 years than it has in generations,” said John Uhl, director of product management. “The dealerships and repair shops we work with want to modernize their shops, preparing them for the future of repairs. They need a lift that will allow them to quickly service any vehicle that comes through their doors.”

Rotary’s Wide Smartlift in-ground lifts are now available from local Rotary distributors. For more information, go to https://rotarylift.com/widelift.
